Welcome to A Precious Gift

A Precious Gift Adoption Resource Center is a not-for-profit corporation founded by two women with unique adoption experiences. We are a licensed adoption agency in northeast Pennsylvania. Because of our unique personal experiences in adoption, A Precious Gift ARC can provide a deep understanding of your fears and concerns and dreams and desires about the adoption process. It is important for you to know that we share your ethical standards and moral convictions as it relates to adoption.

Our Philosophy

We believe all children need and deserve a safe, loving, stable, happy family and home life. A Precious Gift ARC encourages adopting couples and prospective birthparents to actively participate in the adoption process and work together to provide a responsible, compassionate, and positive environment for the child who is the center of the adoption plan. We believe adoption is forever, and that both sets of parents — adoptive parents and birthparents — have unique and deserving roles in the child’s life. We believe in a compassionate and respectful adoption approach that focuses on the lifelong needs and desires of all parties involved.

“It is hard to find the words to thank you for all that you have done for me.  You made this journey so pleasant, and I thank you for helping me find such a great family for my son. When I cry, it is cries of joy knowing D will be raised by a mom and dad who will truly love him.  We look forward to seeing you all in August at the picnic.”  ~Birthmom, S
